Join me for Phone a Friend Friday (on a TUESDAY) with Alex Entin. I had the opportunity to speak with my friend Alex last week and didn't want to make you wait until Friday! Alex shares his experiences as a 9-year-old immigrant in the 1990's from the former Communist Republic of Moldova.

As the Russian invasion of Ukraine continues to unfold, Alex shares insight into how his oppressive experiences with Communism have shaped him as an American Citizen.

MEET ALEX:

My name is Alex Entin. I am a first generation immigrant from the former Communist Republic of Moldova. I experienced firsthand the horrific oppression of Communist government overreach and shared the extreme discontent of the people in the country where I was born. Upon moving to the United States at just nine years old, the American Dream was instilled in me. I witnessed freedom and opportunities abound. Nothing in this great country was out of reach if I, or anyone else, worked hard and dedicated themselves to education or tradecraft. I performed well in high school so continued on to university where I earned my degree and subsequently my Masters of Business Administration. It was important to me to embrace my civic duty so I further supplemented my education by attending law school. I am now a proud procurement professional of thirteen years, and father of four wonderful children alongside my supportive wife, Ellina.

Bucks County has been my home for over 28 years. My family means everything to me. I strive each day to provide them with the best life I can and the best version of myself, because they deserve nothing less. Likewise, our families and our community deserve the BEST America can provide. They deserve the free and brave America that embraced me all those years ago. This is why I am stepping away from my career to support our community and turn the United States back into the country it is meant to be…AGAIN!

The United States of America is known around the world as a haven for freedom and individual rights. While living through the series of events unfolding throughout 2019 and 2020—everything from the summer of riots to the unconstitutional mandates, from the ballot harvesting to the irregular and unusual activities surrounding vote tabulation, and all of the lies from the fake-news media—I knew then that I could not sit idly by and watch the downfall of America. It reminded me of that famous quote by President Ronald Reagan, “If we lose freedom here, there is no place to escape to."

In particular, the impossible events of November 3rd and the string of institutional failures leading up to January 6th ignited me. I was tired of the “political establishment” and voted for a successful man who recognized where our country was headed, and who was passionate about correcting course. Like many political disruptors before him, President Trump was rebuffed by the machine and removed prematurely. Now, more than ever, I am convinced America is on the wrong path. In spite of that, I am committed to getting us back to an “America First” focus, through a constitutionally restrained government.

The time for complaining is over. The time for action is NOW. Our community has been activated. We have cheered each other on as I and others took to the podium to speak publicly about the racist curriculum infiltrating our schools. We have attended hours of school board meetings to vocalize our disdain with the tenets of Critical Race Theory (CRT), student mask requirements, anti-social and ineffective remote learning, and sexually inappropriate books in schools. Thank you for standing up with me for our kids.

This was just the beginning. Here are some other things I have done to effect positive change already:

  • Engaged with the local GOP to support our neighbors

  • Walked door-to-door to catalogue residents' biggest concerns in the school district

  • Worked hard to elect conservative school board members

Additionally, these are some values I hold:

  • I am a Pro-Life candidate

  • I support 2nd Amendment rights

Having done the work and seen how we can effect change increased my desire to become more involved and to make an even greater positive impact for America. It is because of this that I decided to run for Congress.

I COMMIT to putting America First when I become your next U.S. Congressman of Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District. We can do this together. Every vote counts! ELECT ENTIN!!!
